Ben Armstrong, popularly known as crypto content creator “Bitboy,” is suing his former colleagues from the Hit Network for defamation. Armstrong and his legal team allege that his former colleagues engaged in a “campaign of public and written defamation” while he was employed at the network from January 2018 to October 2019. Specifically, Armstrong claims that his former colleagues at the Hit Network spread false information about him and made “malicious, libelous and defamatory” public statements about him. He is seeking damages for the harm he says he sustained from these statements. Armstrong’s lawywer Steve Malman noted, “It is unfortunate that Ben had to resort to taking legal action against his former employers, but his health and finances have been seriously affected by the malicious and false claims made against him while he worked at the Hit Network.”
