Joe Biden has expressed confidence that bipartisan solutions can still be found in Congress despite House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s ouster. The President said both parties remain “committed to finding common ground” and taking action on key issues like infrastructure, climate change, and immigration, among others.
He also encouraged both sides to come together and find “real solutions to the challenges facing our nation” and to work together in the best interests of the American people.
Biden declared, “The American public sent a clear message this November: they want their leaders to work together to make progress on the issues that matter. I remain committed to doing just that, and I’m confident that Congress and the American people will ultimately come together as well.” He added that Democrats and Republicans have the “capacity for compromise” to make progress.
