Chris Christie pushed back against calls to drop out of the race when he launched his first major ad blitz Monday, slashing at Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.
The New Jersey governor highlighted his experience, discussing his time in office and his record of bipartisan accomplishments.
“I am not New York, I am not Washington and I certainly not the wild circus we’re seeing from the other campaigns,” Christie said in the ad.
The ad underscores Christie’s strategy to contrast himself from the other candidates, especially Trump, who he said hasn’t provided solutions to the problems people care about.
“The loudest voices in the room don’t have the right answers for the toughest problems,” Christie proclaimed.
Christie has mainly been in single digits in the polls over recent months. He has said multiple times that he plans to stay in the race until the New Hampshire primary on February 9th. He has also argued that he is the best man to go up against the Democratic nominee.
