In response to the latest round of fighting between Hamas and Israel, various online maps in China have conveniently omitted the State of Israel from their maps. Many websites such as Baidu Maps, AutoNavi, and QQ Maps have all blocked out Israel, while major e-commerce website Alibaba’s map app, Alimap, appears to have displayed the entire country in light gray, making it difficult to distinguish the borders of the nation.
